Congratulations to Anwesha on a well defended thesis!

A visit to the Palty lab at the Technion in Israel was possible through our joint NSF/BSF grant. Anwesha finally had a chance to meet and talk science with graduate students in the Palty lab.

A big thank you to Guillaume Sandoz and his lab at the University of Nice (Institute de Biologie Valrose) for hosting Dr. Kienzler and showing off so much cutting edge science.

Here, graduate student Arnaud is showing Prof. Kienzler how he records electrophysiology traces while photoswitching one of our compounds.

We are happy announce the publication of our newest paper on modulating CRAC channels with azobenzene photoswitches.  Congratulations to Anwesha and all of our collaborators on persisting through many rounds of review and making a great paper!

Congratulations to Anwesha for presenting her work (in the middle of the night!) at a poster session for the Photopharmacology III virtual conference.  Her poster was titled: Synthesis and use of photoswitchable ligands for CRAC channel inhibition.
